This extensive renovation of a luxurious residential pool and spa included replacing the old and worn perimeter tiles as well as adding non slip nosing tile for the stairs.
The nosing tile serves as a stark contrast to the white plaster finish of the pool clearly defining each step to ensure bather safety.
The attached hot tub was also refitted with perimeter tile and nosing tile prior to replastering the interior surface of the pool and spa to a brilliant white, smooth finish.
At thirty five feet square and a twelve foot deep end, over 17,000 pounds of plaster mortar was mixed at the pool edge to finish the interior surface on plaster day.
Also included with this renovation was a filter replacement, leak detection and repair in one of the return lines as well as a major structural crack repair which existed in the stairs and common wall between the pool and the spa.
